Lectures at the mini-festival CITADELA 01 – #ARCHA/architectures

Slovak Mining Museum Banská Štiavnica in cooperation with o.z. Initiative for a Living City present and invite you to the event CITADELA 01 – #ARCHA/architecture. The CITADELA project is a series of Saturday events – mini festivals about the phenomena of history, science, art and everyday life, staged in the backdrop of the Old Castle. During the thematic events, experts, scientists, researchers, museum professionals, archivists and artists will informally present and connect with each other in an interdisciplinary manner. The ambition of the event is to informally present to the public the diverse cultural and historical scales of research, museology, current affairs, as well as multi-genre artistic reactions to the specific genius loci of the Old Castle.
Families with children are also invited, the programme will also include creative workshops. A pilot project from the CITADELA 01 #ARCHA/architecture programme cycle, it thematises the culturally multi-layered area of the Old Castle from the point of view of architecture, its preservation, use and reflection on its genius loci.
