Gloss, yellowish, effective water protection, dries out quickly Density: 18m2/1l One layer of thung oil dries after 2 hrs, hardens after 8hrs, and can be polished again after 24hrs Apply with brush or syringe, please follow the health and safety regulations in your country – tung oil is considered to be highly toxic substance. For interiors apply 2 layers, for exterior it is reccomended to apply 4 layers. Tung oil is highly protective and durable. It is scratch resistant and UV resistant therefore is often used for surfaces near to ocean or placed in the mountains (above the sealevel) it is very effective in protecting wooden floors. It can be addet into paint but max 60 g per liter 10%. Tung oil is to be used directly from the can.

Wax oil
Ottosson oil waxis used like a shoe cream to protect and give a beautiful lustre to brick floors, tiles, table tops and window sills made of natural stone, wood and metal. Oil wax is perfect on surfaces stained with Ottossons varnish shades. The oil wax discolours the glaze minimally leaving the surface beautiful and as smooth as velvet. Spread the oil wax cream very thinly with a cloth or shoe brush. Polish the surface to a satin finish using a soft shoe brush after one day. The product is extremely economical; 1 litre of oil wax is sufficient for 30 -50 m2. If the wood is treated before with Raw linseed oil or Cooked linseed oil the substantiality of wax will increase.

Portion packed linseed oil paint in cans (0,16 liter) is intended for mixing with 1 litre of OTTOSSON VARNISH OIL. The mixture becomes a transparent VARNISH SHADE of AGED WOOD. Sun-oxidized linseed oil
Sun-oxidized linseed oil is a special product that is manufactured by allowing raw linseed oil to stand in large containers outdoors under the influence of sunlight and oxygen in the air. The process lasts a long time (3–4 months), after which the linseed oil bleaches and thickens from oxidation. This method of producing sun-oxidized linseed oil corresponds to the old way of producing so-called “linseed stand oil”. Sun-oxidized linseed oil, mentioned in texts dating from the 17th century, has been used in art painting and older craft painting. We use sun-oxidized linseed oil is as a medium in our artist paints to improve the paint’s drying and gloss properties.
It can also be added to our linseed oil paints in the final coat to create a deeper shine. We recommend using it for our darker shades to acquire a beautiful, deep shine. Add about 10 to 15 percent by volume to the paint.

Ottosson White linseed soap
Our WHITE Linseed soap is crafted from Swedish cold pressed linseed oil with the addition of Titanium dioxide pigment. The product is specially developed for treating wood floors where a light / white tinted surface is desired.
Usage:
1. Shake the can properly before use.
2. Dissolve 20% of white soap in 80% of lukewarm water.
3. Scrub the soap solution in the longitudinal direction of the wood.
4. Wait 30-60 minutes and then wipe off any excess soap solution/water with a dry/twisted mop or cloth.
5. Repeat treatment if a higher whiteness is desired.
If more saturation is desired, wait 1 – 2 days and further saturate the surface with Ottosson White Linseed soap/Ottosson Linseed soap natural. Use the same amount of soap/water for the solution as above

for daily cleaning of the surfaces cleaned by white soap use just vacuum cleaner When the wood starts to get dirty, it is easily washed off with Ottosson Linseed oil soap natural. Use a weaker solution of 1 liter of soap to 20 liters of lukewarm water
