Wax oil
Ottosson oil waxis used like a shoe cream to protect and give a beautiful lustre to brick floors, tiles, table tops and window sills made of natural stone, wood and metal. Oil wax is perfect on surfaces stained with Ottossons varnish shades. The oil wax discolours the glaze minimally leaving the surface beautiful and as smooth as velvet. Polish the surface to a satin finish using a soft shoe brush after one day. The product is extremely economical; 1 litre of oil wax is sufficient for 30 -50 m2. If the wood is treated before with Raw linseed oil or Cooked linseed oil the substantiality of wax will increase.

Tar oil
For the treatment of wood exterior where you do not intend to paint with paint. The product is sometimes called Roslagsmahogny and contains a Dalbränd - Pine wood tar, cold pressed crude linseed oil and balsam turpentine. Despite the dark color of tar oil in the packaging, it does not darken the wood. If you want a darker color, you can add about 10% of any of our linseed oil colors.Again, for untreated wood treat with two thin layers of tar oil. Allow to dry for at least 1-2 days between deletions. Tar oil that has not been sucked in after an hour is wiped off. The tar oil is broken down by the sun on the surface and should be maintained in the range of 3-6 years depending on the exposed position.
