For interiors apply 2 layers, for exterior it is reccomended to apply 4 layers. Tung oil is highly protective and durable. It is scratch resistant and UV resistant therefore is often used for surfaces near to ocean or placed in the mountains (above the sealevel) it is very effective in protecting wooden floors. It can be addet into paint but max 60 g per liter 10%. Tung oil is to be used directly from the can.

Sun-oxidized linseed oil
Sun-oxidized linseed oil is a special product that is manufactured by allowing raw linseed oil to stand in large containers outdoors under the influence of sunlight and oxygen in the air. The process lasts a long time (3–4 months), after which the linseed oil bleaches and thickens from oxidation. This method of producing sun-oxidized linseed oil corresponds to the old way of producing so-called “linseed stand oil”. Sun-oxidized linseed oil, mentioned in texts dating from the 17th century, has been used in art painting and older craft painting. We use sun-oxidized linseed oil is as a medium in our artist paints to improve the paint’s drying and gloss properties.
It can also be added to our linseed oil paints in the final coat to create a deeper shine. We recommend using it for our darker shades to acquire a beautiful, deep shine. Add about 10 to 15 percent by volume to the paint.
Caution! Note If you add it to white and light gray shades, the paint may thicken.

Portion packed linseed oil paint in cans is intended for mixing with 1 litre of OTTOSSON VARNISH OIL. The mixture becomes a transparent VARNISH SHADE of SANDSTONE. If a satin finish is required, then the varnished surface can be treated with Ottosson oil wax.
If a higher gloss level is desired, then the surface can be further varnished using Le Tonkinois Bioimpression

It has an excellent adhesion to all hard resinous and greasy woods. Provides longlasting protection and helps hardening of wood perfect protection against UV also used as base layer for varnish

Application:
To obtain an “oily appearance” apply Bio Impression with a Scotch-Brite sponge. The wooden surfaces should be clean and grease-free, preferable the surface should be freshly sanded. The moisture content of the wood must not exceed 14%. Bio Impression is applied to at least 2 layers indoors and 3-5 layers outdoors.
